Working adjacent to active runways and taxiways, this critical runway/taxiway reconstruction project was completed in 120 days, working 7 days per week.
This project included the reconstruction of the existing concrete pavement at the Runway 18R threshold, milling and overlay of the existing runway, joint/spall repairs on the remaining concrete keel/runway sections, slurry sealing of the existing asphalt shoulders, microsurfacing of the existing asphalt taxiway shoulders and blast pad, drainage rehabilitation, renovating the existing lighting and signage, and installing new dedicated sign circuits.
