FDOT E8T95 Turnpike Mainline Resurface & Safety Improvements

The Project consisted of providing all material, labor, equipment, and incidentals necessary for improvements under two distinct FPID contracts and includes work within both counties of Osceola and Orange.

The first project consisted of milling the existing roadway, installing new asphalt base and friction courses, cross-slope corrections median crossover removal, shoulder widening, guardrail replacement, signing and pavement markings. This work occurred in Osceola County between Mile Post Marker 198.5 to Mile Post Marker 207.00 which is 8.5 miles in each direction for a total of 17 miles.

The second project consisted of milling the existing roadway, installing new asphalt base and friction courses, pavement markings, and the adding and removal of signs to accommodate the new lane configuration. This work occurred in both Osceola and Orange Counties between Mile Post Marker 248.00 to Mile Post Marker 250.70 which is 2.7 miles in each direction for a total of 5.4 miles.
