National Recognition for Massachusetts-based Construction firm

Littleton, MA — The Middlesex Corporation earned Top Workplace 2024 – Construction Industry designation from Pennsylvania-based, independent survey platform company, Energage. Results were calculated based on a confidential employee survey conducted earlier in the year.

“It’s an honor to be nationally recognized in the highly competitive construction space,” said Robert Pereira, Chairman and CEO, Middlesex.  “One of Middlesex’s company goals is to be recognized as “One of the Best Places to Work” and this achievement would not be possible without Middlesex’s team members dedication to our core values and commitment to making our company such a great place to work.”

Middlesex focuses on heavy civil infrastructure projects along the east coast, from Maine to Florida, utilizing established equipment combined with innovative technology.  Clients include state departments of transportation, railways, energy/resources, and marine-based programs.  Middlesex also provides industry-relevant training to employees to reinforce safety policies and expand skills sets.

“Middlesex, having been in business since 1972, continues its commitment to delivering critical infrastructure projects to the public and private sectors while making positive impact in the communities being served,” said Matt St. Hilaire, Chief Human Resources Officer, Middlesex. “Through our Learning & Development and Health, Safety & Environment (HSE) programs we ensure all team members have the opportunity to further enhance their skills for expertise and career development.  And they take advantage of that benefit.”
