Brightman Street Bridge
The Middlesex Corporation constructed the approach span and bascule span superstructure, concrete piers, control house, abutment and retaining walls, and electrical and mechanical equipment for the operation and control of the bascule spans for the Brightman Street Bridge Replacement.
The work on the bridges included construction of reinforced concrete piers and abutments, excavation, embankments, mechanically stabilized earth walls, steel box girder superstructure, steel plate girder superstructure, concrete bridge decks, bridge railing and joints.
