Orlando International Airport – Parking Lot, Taxi, and Bus Hold

The Middlesex Corporation was contracted to construct a new parking lot, that includes construction of a new restroom facility, located to the north of the terminal and existing Taxiway “J”, south of Cargo Road and between Jeff Fuqua Blvd. Northbound and Jeff Fuqua Blvd. Southbound. Work also included a new return to Terminal ‘A’ Road.

Middlesex was also responsible for the demolition of an existing portable restroom facility and construction of a new restroom facility at the existing Taxi Hold and Bus Hold lot, which included a covered outdoor seating area and FIDS display. A new lift station with related force main and sanitary piping was required as well as a communications duct bank. The existing “holding area” was re-striped for taxis and buses and the cue lighting system was refurbished.
