Minneola Interchange, North Hancock Road Extension
The Middlesex Corporation constructed a partial cloverleaf interchange located at MP 279 of SR 91 (Turnpike) mainline in Lake County, Florida. The new interchange includes entry and exit ramps at SR 91 northbound and southbound to provide connections between the proposed Hancock Road and SR 91 mainline.
The project also included the extension of Hancock Road and construction of the new Hancock Road Bridge over SR 91 mainline. This interchange includes ramp toll facilities on the southbound on-ramp and northbound off-ramp.
Middlesex also constructed a stormwater management system to provide water quality treatment and retention of stormwater runoff from the 25-year/96-hour design storm. Water quality calculations account for the future 8-lane turnpike widening in the median.
