Company continues its annual tradition of supporting community-based organizations

Littleton, MA — The Middlesex Corporation and its team members made many spirits bright by donating 600 toys to three local agencies.  As of December 1, team members in the Littleton, MA, Meriden, CT and Orlando, FL offices and project sites brought new, unwrapped toys to be offered to the Ayer, MA Police Department Toy Drive (Ayer Police Department Toy Drive), Middletown, CT Recreation Department (Middletown Recreation), and Orlando, FL One Heart for Women and Children (One Heart for Women and Children).  In addition, Middlesex Corporation honored its commitment to match each gift offered with $10. As a result, Middlesex donated $6,000 to local food banks.

“This toy drive is another shining example of how our team members care about the communities they work in,” said Matt St. Hillaire, Chief Human Resources Officer, Middlesex Corporation.  “Throughout the year, not just now, Middlesex demonstrates the importance of giving and generosity, whether it is for a blood drive, running in a 5K race or one of the many other community events that Middlesex takes part.”

Toys and gift cards were delivered to the noted agencies the week of December 16 in plenty of time to be distributed before Christmas day.  Local food banks received their financial donations during that same time frame.
