Widening and interchange reconstruction to a six-lane facility, providing for a future eight-lane typical section while accommodating for a future ten-lane typical section.
This I-75 Project consists primarily of widening and interchange reconstruction to a six-lane facility, providing for a future eight-lane typical section while accommodating for a future ten-lane typical section. Also included with this project is the widening and reconstruction of SR 50 to a six-lane urban typical section, including accommodations for a future eight-lane condition. Near the I-75 interchange, dual left turns will be introduced on SR 50 for the entrance into the Single Point Urban Interchange (SPUI) configuration. Median openings and left turn lanes are provided intermittently along the SR 50 corridor and adhere to access management criteria. Middlesex is also responsible for the replacement of the I-75 bridges over SR 50 and the widening of both the NB and SB bridges over Croom Rital Road and Withlacoochee River.
