Brightline Trains LLC has secured the rights to operate an intercity passenger rail system connecting Miami to Orlando. Contract C-202 Zone 2 comprises the construction of a dual track rail infrastructure through Orlando International Airport.

The new track route crossed a number of airport roadways and passed under taxiways and the existing airport people mover track. This required new airport infrastructure and modification to the existing infrastructure. Foundations for a future light rail corridor were also installed.

Brightline accepted our large value engineering proposal that removed a flyover, three bridges, impacts to wetlands, and two ponds. This was accomplished by modifying the operations of northbound Jeff Fuqua Boulevard and Cargo Road through the addition of a slip ramp and the first roundabout on GOAA property.
