SR429 Widening Tilden Road To FTE
This project covered all components needed to widen SR429 from Tilden Road to Florida’s Turnpike from 4 general use lanes to 6 general use lanes; widening the inside (median) to accommodate an additional general use travel lane in each direction with full depth shoulders.
Also included is the widening of the mainline bridges within the project limits to accommodate the appropriate shoulder widths, additional general use lanes and ramp modifications.
The project also included construction of sound barriers, overhead sign structures and intelligent transportation systems (ITS) infrastructure in Orange County.
