Asphalt Manufacturing - Middlesex Corporation
pattern

Middlesex Asphalt, LLC, a subsidiary of The Middlesex Corporation, operates an asphalt plant and recycling facility in Orlando, Florida.

Initially constructed in 2004, it has been the highest producing single plant in the state of Florida since its inception. We recently replaced the existing plant with a new, state-of-the-art plant in 2016. It is one of the largest in the southeastern United States. It has total hourly production capacity of 600 tons, and ten silos provide up to 3,000 tons of hot storage, allowing for the ability to ship up to 15,000 tons of hot-mix asphalt in a 24-hour period. Middlesex Asphalt is an environmentally responsible producer of Superpave, FAA, and all standard bituminous concrete designs required in the state of Florida.

The facility also houses a state-of-the-art QA/QC testing laboratory that is fully certified by the Florida Department of Transportation, Federal Aviation Authority, and Central Florida Expressway (CFX). We also employ an in-house staff of quality control technicians, located across the laboratory and our project sites, to ensure that we provide the highest quality product at all times.
